AOTULE Logo Competition

AOTULE lacks a logo mark and is announcing an AOTULE university student competition to design a logo for AOTULE. The logo should include the AOTULE acronym and a map of the region in which the AOTULE members are located covering Oceania and Asia. A logo design which has an engineering theme will be given higher preference during the evaluation. The logo evaluation will be made at the AOTULE Deans 2015 annual meeting on Nov. 3rd 2015.

Note: The AOTULE Deans may collectively decide to extend the logo submission deadline and/or not select a submitted logo design if it does not visually capture the spirit of AOTULE.

Details: 1st Prize $500 (US) and award certificate, 2nd Prize Certificate, 3rd Prize Certificate
Please submit the design file in Adobe Illustrator file format.
 
Eligibility: must be an enrolled student at an AOTULE university. Submission by individual students and groups of students is acceptable. Upto 5 submissions from each AOTULE member university are welcome on a first to submit basis. One submission per individual or group of students.  
Logo submissions will be accepted from Aug. 1, to Oct. 14, 2015 (extended on Oct. 7th) and evaluated at the AOTULE Deans' meeting to be held at Nanyang Tech. Univ. on Nov. 3, 2015. Please submit your logo design by e-mail including your affiliation/contact information (Name, age, birthdate, university afflilation, academic year, major/dept., and email address) and include scanned copy/photo of your student ID card and photo of yourself (head shot) to aotule.log@gmail.com

9th Annual AOTULE meeting held at Univ. Melbourne

The 9th AOTULE meeting was held at the School of Engineering, Univ. Melbourne on Nov. 26-28, 2014. The Graduate Student Conf. and Staff Meeting was also held at the same venue.

8th Annual AOTULE meeting held at Chula.

The 8th AOTULE meeting was held at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn Univ. in Bangkok, Thailand on October 17-19, 2013. The Graduate Student Workshop and Staff Meeting was also held at the same venue.

The 7th AOTULE Deans and Admin Staff Meeting/Student Workshop.

The 7th AOTULE meeting was held at Univ. Malaya, KL, Malaysia, on 23-24 November 2012. The Graduate Student Workshop and Staff Meeting was also held at the same venue.

The 6th Deans Meeting/Student Workshop held at Tsinghua University, China (Oct. 2011).

The 6th AOTULE Deans meeting was held at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China on 10-12 October 2011. The Graduate Students Workshop was also held on - October 2011 at the same venue.

The 5th Deans Meeting at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia (Nov. 2010)

The 5th AOTULE Deans meeting was held at Bandung Instiute of Technology, Bandung, Indonesia on 2-3 November 2010. The Graduate Students Workshop was also held on 1-2 November 2010 at the same venue.

The 4th Deans Meeting at National Taiwan University, Republic of China (Dec. 2009)

The 4th AOTULE Deans meeting was held at the National Taiwan Univ., Taipei, Republic of China on 3-4 December 2009. The Graduate Students Workshop was also held on 2-3 December 2009 at the same venue.

The 3rd Deans Meeting at Univ.Auckland, New Zealand (Nov. 2008)

Student Workshops accompanied the 3rd Deans Meeting
The graduate students conference was held at at University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand on 26-28th November 2008. It included wide range of research fields in engineering. More than 100 student and young Scientists from 9 countries participated in the conference.

The 2nd Deans Meeting held at KAIST, Korea (Nov. 2007)

Student Workshops accompanied the 2nd Deans Meeting
The meeting was held at Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea on 28-30th November 2007. It included research workshops and student workshop on several research fields in engineering. Student and Young Scientists Workshops on Mechanical Science/Engineering and Chemical Engineering & Polymer Science was held at the same time.
