The Organization of AOTULE

 According to the AOTULE objectives, AOTULE functions as a partnership of its member universities. Membership of the Board of AOTULE will be made up of the Presidents of the member universities. A deans meeting of the AOTULE is planned to be held annually. The Steering Committee of AOTULE acts as an active engine on the day to day operations between annual deans meetings.

 The current Chair of AOTULE is Prof. Huan J. KEH (from Dec. 2009), the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Univ. Auckland, New Zealand.

 The Chair person-elect of AOTULE is Prof. Dwiwahju SASONGKO, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, who was recommended by a mutual vote at the 4th Deans meeing (Dec. 2009).

 The organization of the AOTULE was discussed in the 2nd deans meeting in Daejeon. As a result of this discussion, it was agreed to set up a Steering Committee of AOTULE to smoothly operate the various programs. Since the main scheduled programs are the deans meeting, student research workshops, summer school, and student exchange program, four sub- groups were established by the Committee members as listed below.

 The Chair of the Steering Committee: Prof. Masahiro Susa (Tokyo Tech), and the Vice Chair of the Steering Committee: Prof. Chia-Pei Chou(National Taiwan Univ.)
 The Sub-groups, Group leaders*, and Members are as follows,
 1) Deans Meeting : Huan J. Keh* (National Taiwan Univ) and Dwiwahju Sasongko (Bandung Institute of Technology).
 2) Workshops and Summer Schools : Z. Zhuang (Tshinghua Univ.) and S. Damrongsakkul (Chulalongkorn U.)
 3) Student & Scholar Exchange : Charles W. W. Ng (Hongkong Univ. Sci. Technol.).
 4) AOTULE web-site : S.Ando* (Tokyo Tech).
