Perspectives of AOTULE at Present

The AOTULE promotes various cooperation programs including an annual Deans Meeting, research workshops, students workshop and exchange of students and staff, and improve the quality of engineering education and research of the member universities. We aim to construct a premier league of engineering schools with excellent international reputations and outstanding achievements in education and research. As a future activity on education, one of the goals is to make the Asia-Oceanian Inter-University Education System on Engineering among the member universities similar to ERASMUS (European Community Action Scheme for Mobility of University Students) or Univeristas 21 As a future activity on research, one of the goals will focus on selecting issues especially important in our region, and developing engineering solutions for them.
