Abstract

Communication design is a method of designing communication to co-create, verify, and reconstruct the purpose of one's actions and the process of achieving the purpose when people with different backgrounds and positions act in an organized manner. Innovation, it refers to technological innovation that brings new value to society, but innovation does not occur through technology alone. It requires not only technology but also a social process that is created through the collaborative creation of people who develop technology, people who use it, and people who connect the two.

In this lecture, I will introduce the theory of communication and introduce communication design as one of the designs that promote collaborative creation between people with different background.

Also as case studies, the research design of life support for frail elderly people, prevention of accidents at care facilities and cattle behavior management using smart devices will be discussed, and the methodology of design will be taught.

It is my hope that this lecture will serve as a methodology for students and faculty members with various research backgrounds to consider the social implementation of their own research.
